Diego Rey, born in Bariloche, Argentina and now based in San Francisco, holds a BS (UCSB) in electrical engineering and PhD (Cornell) in biomedical engineering minoring in applied engineering physics and biophysics. He co-founded GeneWEAVE (acquired by Roche) and Endpoint Health (W19) developing rapid bacterial detection and immune disease therapeutics. Diego was the first bio Visiting Partner at YC. He Angel invests and serves on Cornell advisory councils.
