High quality mRNA for therapeutic application
mRNA-based therapeutics development is limited by challenges in mRNA quality, yield, stability/longevity, and manufacturing cost due to contaminants like dsRNA and heterogeneity.
Cisterna Biologics produces high-quality therapeutic mRNA using proprietary approaches (e.g., ribozyme-based 3’ end processing) to prevent or remove contaminants such as dsRNA and ensure 3’ homogeneity.
Biopharma companies and mRNA therapeutic developers needing high-quality mRNA for clinical and commercial applications.
Hari Bhaskaran's journey with RNAs started with ribozymes (catalytic RNAs) almost 20 years ago in the labs of Rick Russell at UT Austin. His PhD work was focused on mechanistic understanding of RNA folding, culminating in a seminal publication in Nature (see Bhaskaran and Russell, 2007). Since then, he has held positions of increasing responsibilities in both academia and industry. He is the author of several publications and industry patents.
